Back to Basics: The ABC's of Filing A Claim for Your Crumbling Basement

As a fellow victim and real estate professional, I have stayed abreast of the weekly news coming from  Connecticut Foundations Solutions Indemnity Company (CFSIC)  as well as the audits, interviews, and the excellent series of white papers, "Why Foundations Fail", also available on the website.  There is a plethora of information on the site and useful links to address any question or concern you may have about filing a claim and how to do it.  It is discouraging to read the updates and the redundancy of some of the posts, because people are still not reading and/or understanding the differences between, for instance, pending, active, participation agreement, etc.

Sadly, with the proliferation of social media and our subsequent shorter attention spans, there is less reading going on overall.  So without further ado, and in the most succinct terms, here are the basics to getting your crumbling basement funded and replaced.  Good luck!
